Autumn expected to be warmer and dryer according to AEMET

This autumn looks set to the dryer and warmer this year, according to the National Meteorological Agency AEMET.

The agency said their forecasts suggest an increase in average temperatures of 0.6ºC between now and December with less rainfall across the country, especially after this years hot summer – the ninth hottest on record.

Autumn officially began yesterday afternoon, on the same day as the autumn equinox.
